A few months ago I actually received some emails from them and checked them out a little bit. They are a real guru however you have monthly fees for hosting and different levels of the company. I think the total start up and up keep of that business was extremely high. I actually chose to go with online business systems for my home based business. There are lots of guru’s out there but just find the one that doesnt cost you a fortune. Good luck and if you need any advice feel free to get in touch.

How do I approach this without making my husband feel like an a$$-h%le? We are both good people.Need advice.?

NO spam and NO insults. I will ignore whatever you say and report you. I am looking for advice and encouragement from people with solid marriages, or at the very least, healthy emotional lives. If you read this and feel the need to call me a b—– or my husband an a$$-h%le, please do not respond.

Also, you will probably be able to offer me better advice if you actually read the post and don’t just read the intro and respond with ill-informed answers. Thanks.

We are expecting our first baby any day now, and have only been married one year. We have had a couple tiffs over money lately and the one we had yesterday really hurt my feelings. I have not explained to my husband why I was so hurt by it, because I’ll admit, being pregnant, I feel like I’m more emotionally fragile than usual and I cry way more than I normally do and it makes him feel terrible.

I am a bargain shopper. That being said, there are some things I have had to purchase over the past few months for myself and for the baby. I have kept it pretty basic and, by sheer luck, we were given a lot of the things we would have had to buy.

Some financial background: We do fine. We moved right after our marriage for his job, which is a great job. I have been working part-time until last week, when my physically strenuous job got to be a little too much for nine months pregnant.

The following type of situation has happened a couple times over the past few months and it makes my feel really awful, but I don’t know how to fix it:

I came home a couple days ago, having bought about $70.00 worth of items I really needed to be ready for our baby’s birth and my postpartum recovery. Items such as a few nursiung bras (I have outgrown all but 2-3 of mine and they don’t allow easy access); a couple six-packs of panties because I don’t have enough that fit to pack several in my hospital bag; some travel sized toiletries; a few $12 Pj sets from Walmart that fit me and are appropriate to wear in front of male friends and family when they drop by to see the baby.

Anyway, I didn’t know it bothered him until yesterday. He got irritated and said, “Well, every time you shop, you spend like $70.00! I mean, how many bags did you come home with other day?”

His statement is untrue. Usually when I go shopping, I don’t spend anything because I haven’t found a good enough deal on what I was looking for. And I honestly needed the things I bought. It really hurt my feelings. I cried and we didn;t end up going to church. Two hours later, we made up.

Later that day, he got all excited looking online at an easy chair clearance happening in town and wanted to go looks at buying an easy chair for $150-300. I didn’t say anything because I don’t like arguing, but that upset me all over again. He did the same thing last month when I wanted to join a new-moms group for $35 ( I didn’t end up going), and then he bought a new laptop.

We had a similar fight a few months ago about baby-proofing items for our house once the baby starts crawling. Our house is like a baby death trap right now, and I want her to be safe. He ended up coming around on this one, but some of the things he said made me feel as if this precious little one I’m carrying doesn’t mean that much to him.

My husband is a good husband, and I don’t think he realizes what he’s doing, or that it hurts my feelings. It makes me feel unimportant, and like our baby is unimportant as well. I love him and I have tried so hard to make the transition from husband to husband-father as easy as possible for him, but he still gets freaked out and really frustrated. Especially over money.

The other thing that bugs me is that I have been putting small amounts of money away all year for a Christmas surprise for him that he asked for in March. His attitude about things I need makes me want to just hoard all the money I’ve saved and use it for things I need for myself of for the baby instead of buying him something he doesn’t need at all. But I’ve worked so hard to save it and it was for him.

I don’t know what to do. And I don’t know how to talk to him about my feelings regarding this without making him feel like a jerk, or starting another big fight. I can’t hold it in because it just makes me feel like snapping at him all the time. I feel like I can’t give him what he wants and I’m in a situation where I can’t fix it because I’m about to give birth to our baby and I need to focus on being a good mother for her.

So….any USEFUL encouragement and/or advice would be appreciated.
Okay I think we worked it out. I talked to him about it and it was way easier than I thought it would be. As I suspected, he simply didn’t realize his reactions were hurting my feelings. Basically, we came to the conclusion that he’s freaking out a little because of the baby and it hurts me that he doesn’t trust me to be frugal. I assured him that I have always been frugal and am even more so now that we’re married. He told me he didn’t realize he was giving me the impression that we can’t afford things I need. We both have the best intentions to be good partners. I just needed help finding the words to talk to him from his perspective. Thanks.

The reality is, the more you scrimp and save, the tighter the purse strings will become so there is not end to it.

Sometimes men don’t feel that they are a part of the pregnancy. When I read your post, its you and the baby and honestly I don’t see him as anything other than the donor. I get the impression he is competing wither with you or with the baby. Connect him with his child while you are pregnant. Let him feel the baby kick and listen to your stomach. Get him involved in some of the purchasing by selecting two items and letting him select the one he likes. Find some clothes with “daddy” on them. Make every conversation “we” be inclusive of him.

The bra’s you need during and after pregnancy are expensive and that’s just the bottom line. Next he will complain that your booobs are at your knees. Don’t let yourself go whatever you do. Let him know how important the right bras are. Connect him to the booobs.

If this doesn’t work, then perhaps you will need to seek counseling.

Should I be pissed off?

I’m a 15 year old kid (as of Monday ) that lives in Manchester, NH. I’m from Malden, Ma. I moved up here when I was nine because out house was upside down. The first 12 years of my life my Dad worked constantly and my mom slept 16 hours a day and drank a six pack a night, every night, without fail. Most of the time it was like no one was there for me. I was upper middle class family, I went to Catholic School. My mom would drive me to school, go home, sleep till 2pm then pick me up. She’d drive me to karate after school two days a week, then pick me up, take me home, drink and pass out. I spent most of my time with my friend, PJ.

When I was nine my grandmother and I drove to New York and we got pulled over. Turned out she ha d a .24 BAC which is pretty damn high. I sat in a police station for four hours waiting to be picked up, with her crying next to me the whole time.

Then when I was 12 my parents started getting divorced. My mom stopped drinking, without admitting she was ever an alcoholic. My Dad has actually just got a DUI after backing into a pickup truck and driving down the road before hitting a fence and trying to kill himself by jumping onto train tracks.

Now that my parents are seperated they can’t agree on anything and I constantly get f*cked when it comes to rules. My mom is 10x stricter than my dad is and I can’t deal with her rules anymore. The only problem is I know she will completely abandon me if I move out.

I also know she’s given me less freedom now than I had when I was 5. I can’t own a BB gun, airsoft gun, any sort of knife or weapon, crossbow etc. I now can’t go to Buckcherry concerts which I went to when I was 12. It’s confusing to me, because I haven’t done anything wrong so why would she be reversing the rules?

My question is, do I have a right to be pissed off in general with my parents? Oh, and by the way. My dad got Leukemia this summer which is really sad. He’s in remission now but still fighting incredibly hard with chemo 2x a month <3 wish him strength if you read this far!

Thanks for your opinions,

Dameian.
*I'm also a pretty good kid. Varsity Alpine Team, Baseball, Honor Roll Student. I do smoke pot occasionally, but that's really not that bad. oh, and did I mention I'm a complete social anarchist?

Although I understand your frustration, being angry won’t get you anywhere. Always understand, thing happen in life and its always better to be humble about it and roll with the punches. As far as BB airsoft guns go, have you tried educating her a little bit more so that she might be more comfortable with the idea if she had a better undersand of what it is? Try showing her this link http://www.airsplat.com/airsoft-definition.htm . Might help. I suggest you talk to your mom about it all , in a calm, non-condescending way.

Maybe he wants you to think he’s working out (And since most girls think a strong guy is attractive…)

Getting website on global domains international through dreamweaver?

so i just created an account on global domains international (GDI) and on my dreamweaver my site it ready to go. and i have made a local root folder but one problem, i don’t know how to get it up there. GDI emailed me with the address/host and a port. and on dreamweaver i went on the remote info and this is what i put in:
Access: FTP
FTP host: ftp.hosting.ws
Host directory: / (i am not sure what this is for but i just put “/” and it worked).
and i entered my login and password from GDI.

admin answers:

There is not one exercise that will give you a six pack. We all have six pack muscles. It is the body fat that hides them. You can exercise all you want, but show them off you have to lose that fat.

Does it matter if i do say 60 press ups in a whole every 2 hours or so?
Also is it alright to do say 50 sit ups and 20 press ups and 50 swuat thrusts and then do it again instead of doing the whole workout in one go?

admin answers:

Hi. Yes, it does matter.

First of all, whatever you do is better than doing nothing at all. So if you will change nothing, at least continue with that.

Now, it matters because as you start doing anything your body starts to warm up, heart rate starts going up and you get more and more benefit the longer (but correctly) you exercise. After about 30-45 minutes fat starts burning for example, not before. Also, the body continues burning calories after you exercise due to an increased metabolism and this after-effect lasts much longer if your workout was longer.

So: Try to do at least 60 minutes of any activity where your heart rate goes up to “its hard to talk but I still can” level.

And remember, anything is better than nothing.

admin answers:

Ignore everyone that says situps/crunches/leg raises etc. They are morons.

If you want to lose flab/cellulite/fat from your abs/thighs/butt or get a six pack you need to first realize that spot reduction is a myth.
The problem is not the muscle; the problem is the fat that is covering the muscle.
Anyone that says “Oh do crunches to get rid of the fat or your belly” or “high reps of lunges make your legs smaller” is a loony.
You can do 1,000 lunges, crunches, sit ups a day but that fat isn’t going anywhere. All they do is work the muscle. They do nothing for the fat.
You can’t lose fat in one specific place; fat is lost throughout the body, dependant on genes, gender, and age. That’s just the way we humans work.

To lose fat:
1. DON’T BELIEVE THOSE FAD DIETS! DIET PILLS ARE GIMMICKS!
2. DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF! Unless you are 4ft tall, a 1,200 calorie a day diet is DANGEROUS and won’t work in the long run.
3. Calculate your BMR. Do a google search. A good calculator would ask for your age, height, weight, and activity level.
4. Eat healthy and eat about 500 calories a day less than your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). Your BMR is how many calories you need per day to maintain your current weight.
5. Eat 5-6 small meals a day. This keeps your metabolism up. Each meal should include fruits, veggies, water, and protein.
5. Drink at least 64oz (8 8oz glasses) of water a day. No soda (that includes diet soda).
6. Do light/moderate cardio 3 to 5 times a week for 30 to 45 minutes each time. Running, bicycling, and swimming are great for this.
7. Do some strength training to make sure you lose fat and not muscle. Don’t worry; you won’t look like the hulk if you lift weights.
8. You should lose about 1-2lbs (.45-.9kg) per week. If you lose more than that, chances are the rest is stool, water weight, or even muscle mass.
9. Weigh yourself only once a week at the same time (ie every Friday morning). Your weight fluctuates a lot during any 24hour period because of water and food intake and also bowel movements.
Be patient and be smart. If you follow this guideline you will be very happy with your results.

What are some great exercises for a six-pack?

I am 15 and I eat healthy (had a trainer), workout pretty good and need some more exercises on how to get a six pack. I am kind of getting bored with my ab routines. What are some great ab exercises out there for upper, lower, and oblique parts of the abdomen?

admin answers:

My favorite ab workout is where you lay flat on the ground with your feet together. Then you situp and touch your toes. Then right when your lower back hits the ground you pulse up with your body bringing your legs up and touching your toes again.

So your body is kind of in a V shape on the ground. If you do it right nothing but your but is touching the ground. Going up to touch your toes is 1 rep, then the pulse up is 1 rep.

Hopefully you understand that.

You can also do leg climbs, which you can either do with 1 leg flat or 1 leg bent and then put your other leg up into the air. Then do a crunch and climb up your leg. The less you climb up your leg the more of a workout its going ti be. Make sure you switch legs too. I forgot which one is harder having your leg flat or bent but I know that one of them is a easy mode and one is hard mode.

You can also do reverse situps where you lay on your back and you put your heels up towards the ceiling. Then you push up with your abs and it works out your lower ab muscles a lot. This is good for shaping those lower muscles which are usually harder to shape.

You can also sit on your butt, and leaning back a little bit you can bicycle in the air, you can have your hands on the ground to stable yourself for easy mode, or you can balance on your but for something harder.

Another workout is called scissors something. You lay flat on your back and keep both legs as STRAIGHT as possible. Lift one foot about an inch off the floor and the other one as high as you can. Then every, say, 5 seconds, switch them, and keep doing it until you can’t take it anymore.

Another really good one for your upper abs is sitting on your but and lifting your legs into the air so your just balancing on your butt, then take your hands and clamp them together, then swing them side to side hitting the floor each time. This can work you out hard. Every time you hit the floor twice its one rep, and usually 50 reps are pretty good.

By the way I saw someone say something about p90x, a lot of these workouts are from that DVD.

admin answers:

Take my word for it, you are training FAR too much to ever get proper results from your bodybuilding.
If you train twice as much you will not get twice the results, you’ll probably get half the results if you are lucky.
Your body needs recovery time. Drop your workouts to 4x per week and hit each muscle group once a week HARD. Drop the running and eat 4 healthy, hi-protein meals per day and consume 2 protein drinks between meals.
With what you are doing now you are burning your body out, not building it up. If you dont believe me just look at the results you’ve had. Dont put it down to you being a slow gainer, this is down to training wrong.
Try it for 3 months. This will be the best advice you ever had.
Good luck.

It doesn’t take long. Probably 3 months or so. But your ab workouts have to be intense and you must do it EVERYDAY. Plus take a protein shake right after a workout.

Switch up your ab workout everytime so your abs do not get use to a certain routine. Do the proper form. You still need body fat to be below 10%. Preferably 3-5% to really show the abs. There is no easy way to get abs. It’s just plain hardwork and strict schedule. Or you can take up kung fu where they focus a lot on ab workout.

admin answers:

I would suggest supersetting or interval training. It combines strength training(for building lean muscle tissue) and cardio(for fat burning). You don’t need any fancy equipment or an expensive gym membership.

Example: squats, push-ups, pull-ups, mountain climbers(if you can’t do a push-up or pull-up=> use dumbbells or resistance bands & do a pushing exercise and a pulling exercise instead). Do 15 reps of each back to back to back to back without resting. That equals 1 set. Rest 30-60 secs. Repeat. Do 3-5 complete sets. Do this 3-4x/week.

If you noticed there are no sit-ups or crunches in this workout(I personally think sit-ups & crunches are a waste of time). The best way to burn fat and tighten up your midsection & core is through total body exercises! This style of training doesn’t have you spending in hours and hours a week training either. They are short, fast and effective!

These workouts are great for women or men!

Good luck

Is this a good workout regimen?

I do sort of diet, I try to eat mostly green veggies and chicken but I don’t starve myself because I become a grump. Anyways I have a pretty skinny stomach but I’m a little flabby and would like to define my abs a little but not like a six pack or anything because I am a girl.

Anyways this is what I do
100 Bicycle Crunches (About 5 or 6 sets)
10 Push ups (4 sets)
30 minutes (give or take) Speed Walking
I do the bicycle crunches and push up sets through out the day at all different times (for instance 100 @ 6:30 am and then 100 more at 7:30am until I’ve finished all 6 sets) because my schedule varies and I think it probably keeps my metabolism up, right?

Ok well just let me know if this is a good workout regimen by the way my stomach muscles are a little sore (mostly my obliques) and I started this a few days ago. Will I have defined abs by Christmas? Thanks

I would certainly suggest a variety of resistance/weight training activities. Fortunately, according to the information you have provided, you have already adapted such activities into your current workout regime.. Excellent!

Personally, my workout generally consists of numerous cardio related activities designed to decrease and maintain body fat percentage.
A typical day is comprised of activities (workouts) such as.. Cycling, swimming, running and jogging.
An excellent technique you could possibly combine with jogging would be running in short increments, then reverting back to your standard jogging exercise… This method is considerably prudent in maximising and increasing the percentage of fat you will ultimately dispose of with continued (not excessive) execution.

Remember to incorprate practical food consumption into your daily intake. A well-balanced diet low in calories and high in carbs is essential for sustained energy release.. And plays a pivotal role in obtaining and achieving that desired physique.

Remember, consume a variety of vegetables and fruits.. Don’t forget to drink an abundance of water.. Water is essential and extremely important..

Otherwise, if you are particularly content with your current exercise regime.. Then continue at your own expense.. I am merely here to provide suggestions and offer validated opinions.

I hope this was of assistance.. Good luck.. And train hard!

Do YOGA

It is good that you have sought the help of Yoga to bring your body back into shape. While your practices and measure to eliminate excess weight or what you do is important, what you shouldn’t do is just as important.

* Don’t resort to weight reduction pills or powders of any sort and please avoid crash diets. We shall prescribe you a simple diet that is healthy, easy to follow and will deliver the desired results. See a nutritionist or dietician, if you must, but preferably one who knows and practices Yoga.

* Never skip meals. This makes you overeat at other times. So, by all means eat three or even four times a day, but eat light and sparingly.

Yoga Exercises

Standing Position

# Tadasana (Palm Tree pose)
# Parvatasana (Mountain pose)
# Trikonasana (Triangle Pose)
# Ardha Chakrasana (Half Moon pose)
# Padangusthasana (Toe to hand pose)
# Padahastasana (Forehead to knee pose)

Sitting Position

# Janu Sirshasana ((Forehead to single knee pose)
# Paschimottanasana (Forehead to both knees pose)
# Ushtrasana (Camel pose)
# Gomukhasana (Cow face pose)
# Simhasana (Lion pose)
# Marichyasana (Pose dedicated to the sage Marichi)
# Ardha Matsyendrasana (Half Lord of the Fish pose)

Supine Position

# Purvottanasana (Inclined Plane)
# Matsyasana (Fish pose)
# Pawanmuktasana (Wind relieving pose)
# Navasana (Boat pose)
# Chakrasana (Wheel pose)
# Sethu Bandhasana (Bridge formation pose)
# Halasana (Plough pose)

Prostrate Position

# Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward Dog pose)
# Bhujangasana (Cobra pose)
# Dhanurasana (Bow pose)
# Shalabhasana (Locust pose)

Inverted Position

# Viparita Karani (Legs against the wall pose)
# Sarvangasana (Shoulder Stand)

Balancing Position

# Vrikshasana (Tree pose)
# Garudasana (Eagle pose)

Pranayamas (breathing exercises)

# Kapalabhatti (Skull cleansing)
# Anuloma-Viloma (Alternate Nostril Breathing)
# Suryabhedana (Right Nostril breathing)

Kriyas (Cleansing techniques)

# Jala Neti (Cleansing Nasal passages with water)
# Sutra Neti (Cleansing Nasal passages with rubber catheter)
# Vaman Dhauti (Cleansing stomach by vomit water on empty stomach)

Yogic Diet

This is very important, if you wish to get back into shape and develop a healthy, slim and shapely physique. Let your diet be Yogic and Sattvic (pure, light and predominantly vegetarian). This means plenty of raw foods – salads, sprouts and seasonal fruit – vegetable juices, dried fruits and loads of water.

Avoid potatoes, peas, chick peas, grams, peanuts, all non-veg fare, fried, fatty and spicy foods, junk / fast foods, packaged foodstuffs and confectionary products. Also keep away from milk and milk products such as cheeses and butter. But you may have plenty of diluted buttermilk prepared from skimmed milk. Avoid snacking between meals and, as mentioned before, never skip a meal.

admin answers:

I would love to give you the abs workouts that i do but they are kinda difficult to explain so i can give you advice to where you should look… Go to youtube.com and type in abs workouts. There will be tons and tons of videos about different workouts you could do to get that 6 pack or 8 pack! Most importantly choose ones that really get your stomach burning and ones that focus on the major muscles like the Rectus Abs or the external oblique and muscles like that… For your soccer, to get in better shape and be more prepare for the season, set a goal of where you want your fitness level to be for example:
-To be able to run a 400m in under a minute or something like that
and/or
-To be able to do the most complex foot pattern in the latter without messing up.

Once you have your goal, focus everything on achieving that goal and once you do raise your standards for the things you think you need to achieve. Start out with small goals and once these are to easy for you raise them higher and higher! Every great athlete sets goals remember that because without them they would have no direction on where to go or what to focus on.

Last thing, to intensify your determination change every should into a MUST! Good luck!

admin answers:

Sit ups: Please note that sit-ups can be a strenuous activity on the lower back. Understanding how to get a six pack and not damage yourself in the process is critical. Do not strain yourself; build up this type of exercise slowly. Twisting during this exercise (left elbow to right knee) is NOT effective and put the lower back under tremendous stress. If you feel even the slightest twinge, then stop.
In order to strengthen your abs, care and technique are necessary. Effective sit-ups need to pull the torso towards the knees from a lying position only using the abdominal group of muscles. If you have your legs straight on the floor then more powerful muscles in the legs will do most of the work.
To counteract this you should bend your knees while sitting up and so make the abdominal muscles feel the burn. If you gather a momentum you will not be working the muscles effectively. Only by slowly raising and lowering will you achieve the best results.

Leg lifts
Leg lifts: The challenge with this exercise is to keep your legs straight and not to let your feet touch the floor.
Lie of the floor with your hands by your sides. Keeping your legs straight lift them to 90 Degree and back down but to do allow then to touch the ground, repeat back to the 90 degrees position.

Jacknife Sit-ups
Jacknife Sit-ups: Discover how to get a six pack the hard way with this intense workout.
Start as you would in the position to do sit-ups with your hands at your sides.
Without bending your knees, simultaneously lift you legs in the air and your head and shoulder so that your whole body makes a V-shape. If you can manage it the try to touch your toes.
Then relax and go back to the starting position.

V-ups
V-ups: This exercise requires good balance and strong core muscles. It can be performed on a bench but can also be carried out on a mat on the floor(but don’t let those legs touch the floor).
Bending your knees, simultaneously lift your legs and your torso so they form a V as you can see from the photo. Then go back to the relax position, during this exercise you arms should remain horizontal.

The Static Hold
The Static hold: Get into the push-up position but with your forearms touching the ground. Make sure your body is a straight line from your shoulders down to your toes and hold that position for a minimum of 1 minute.
This exercise strengthen your core abdominal muscles. Repeat this exercise more and more as you strengthen the core muscles.

Understanding how to get a six pack through strengthening your core muscles is key to achieving great abs!

Good Luck!

If you want to get the lower ones i would suggest you cut down on your carbs. Like no carbs to 9 g a day. Its hard as hell but it looks so good.
Hello Alex. The first thing you want to do is start eating 5-6 small meals per day if you aren’t already. The reason is your body will become more efficient at burning calories. On average, The serving size of protein and carbohydrates should be the size of your fist. Vegetables can be the size two to three fists full. This is due to the high fiber and low caloric content. Some good sources of protein are: Lean chicken, pork, turkey, egg whites and protein shakes . Some good sources of carbohydrates are: Brown rice, oatmeal, yams or sweet potatoes, black beans (which are 1/2 protein 1/2 carbohydrates) and low glycemic fruits like pears, apples, berries or oranges. Always, avoid white carbs when trying to get cut. This includes white bread, white rice, pasta, candy or other sugar treats. You may even want to cut out carbs with dinner. Only eat a protein source and veggies. Do this for a month or so. I’ve found that it helps lose fat a little faster.
- Bread
- Brown rice
- Oatmeal (not instant)

Fresh fruits
__________
- Apple
- Banana (due to sugars it is best to eat in the morning or before workout)
- Kiwi
- Berries (Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, etc.)

Snacks
_______
- Almonds and other nuts
- Low fat or fat free yogurts

To see your six pack, you need to lose bodyfat. The optimal percentages are different for males and females. In terms of exercise, lifting weights strengthens muscle and activates fat-burning hormones. (I’m assuming you’re a girl – lifting weights will cannot make you “big” or bulky since girls don’t have enough testosterone for that to happen.) Exercises that utilize multiple muscles, like squats, tricep dips, pullups, etc. Are the best. In terms of cardio, interval training is probably the most effective for losing fat and building endurance (see sources).
